Big Brother and Sister

These 2 cuties are the big brother and big sister to little Miss S. Unfortunately she still wasn't well when I went to photograph the 3 kids. L & A and I still had a great time and they sure kept me on my toes racing from one point to another. If only my 2 girls were as cuddly with each other!

Look at that dimple!!

L. reminded me of Billy Elliott in this shot.

They were so good that I told them we could finish off with some fun stuff. L. had a great time seeing just how high he could jump and A. love standing in the sprinkler. Ssshhhh, don't tell the Council...

Little Trooper

Poor Miss S. was not feeling very well on the day we took her pictures. She was such a trooper though and even managed a few smiles before nodding off to sleep.

Generous & Caring Souls

Last spring I made a donation to a silent auction which was held at the luncheon for the K's for Country Kids charity bike ride. The bicycle ride and luncheon benefit the Leukaemia Foundation by raising funds to help provide assistance to children in rural & country Queensland who have to travel to Brisbane for treatment.

This family had the winning bid and it was a pleasure to meet them and to discover that they literally live right around the corner from me. How's that for service!

Should I or Shouldn't I?

"He blogs, she blogs, uh we blog, I blog you blog uh they blog..." Does anyone else have Cindy Lauper going through their head right now? Am I showing my age? Oh my!

These days it seems like everyone blogs so being the follower that I am, (I'm being sarcastic here) I figured I should do it too. Actually I love looking at other people's blogs to see what they've been up to and what new tidbits of information they have to share, especially food blogs. While I don't think I'll ever have as many cookbooks as my sister Susie, I just might have more links to food blogs than her.

Now I'll admit it, I've tried to keep a journal more times than I care to think about. I start off strong, all motivated to keep it going and after a week, or in reality two or three days, nothing. Nada. All these beautiful books sitting empty waiting for me to fill them with who knows what...

For those who know me well, I write like I talk - which is A LOT. I'm hoping that since my goals is to share lots of images, I won't have to worry too much about the writing. They say a picture is worth 1000 words right? Well, in that case I'll let the images speak for themselves. And I won't have to worry too much about writing volumes. ;)
